Report from the Committee on Ministry
Members: David Kennedy, Eva Thompson, Nancy Read
This committee has a rotating chair and meets with Erik monthly. This was a transitional year for the committee as David Kolb and Sara Eddy completed their terms and Eva Thompson joined the committee. We wish to thank David and Sara for their hard work and always-collegial contributions to our discussions. Our mission is to support Erik and his ministry to First Universalist Church. Due to the nature of candidating and Erik's upcoming move, we met less frequently this year. This committee focuses on a chosen topic each month: such as worship, lay ministry, RE, etc. We attempt to trouble shoot in the focus area and support Erik's work toward his goals. If there is a pressing issue that has come to the attention of one or more of our members, we will work on that as well. We also provide feedback from the congregation to Erik and actively seek out potential problem areas so as to address them early.
