Throughout the year the church offers its members (and often the wider community) opportunities to join book studies, film forums, discussion groups, workshops, and classes on a wide variety of topics.
Some recent examples of subjects explored here have been the history of Unitarian Universalism, "green" burial options, and workshops on preaching a sermon. Check back for information about new Adult Religious Education opportunities that are offered through the year.
Perhaps you're interested in Buddhist meditation, Shamanic drumming, community drumming or Tai Chi? Throughout the week, we host many groups that welcome newcomers who are interested. Check the calendar to get a sampling of what's offered here. |

This year our Adult Religious Education will follow the same themes as our Worship Services, allowing for a deeper exploration of the faith that moves us, and a chance to build community and make friends with the folks we see in the pews!

Explore our UU faith through new readings that Rev. Jennifer will provide for you, and share your views on the beloved community and radical  hospitality we've been preaching about throughout the early fall. UU leader and scholar David Bumbaugh asks, "What is so central to our identity that we must proclaim it, even at the risk of offending someone?" Let's find out together!
Perfect class for newcomers wanting to learn more about Unitarian Universalism as well as for long-time members seeking a deeper understanding of our theology and a chance to exchange ideas with the Minister. This class serves as a prelude to the longer Coming of Age at Any Age building your UU theology course offered later in the year.
