Offerings for the 2013-2014 church year
Our Religious Education Program strives to offer Adult Ed. courses that are in line with our Worship Themes and the interests and needs of the adult members and friends of our congregation. This Fall we are offering three opportunities for small group learning and spiritual exploration
Revelation - The Art of Happiness
An adult discussion and exploration group centered around the teachings of H.H. The Dalai Lama
Revelation - Mama, is there a God?
This course is for everyone, but is especially geared toward those who are parents and grandparents and are being asked THE BIG QUESTIONS by their youngest family members. How do we give our children the information they long for about human nature, god, life and death, and what happens next, from our Unitarian Universalist prospective? Come explore healthy answers, and great questions, with Rev. Jennifer and your fellow UU parents and congregants
To register and be invited to weigh in with your best times and dates, please email Church Administrator, Suzanne Warfel at firstname.lastname@example.org
This class will be offered in one 2-hour session, at the church, by mid-November. Childcare will be provided.
Revelation - "Did I just say that?"
This course will explore all the thoughts and feelings that get in the way of us being the most open-minded, brave, and revelation-ready people we can be. Using written materials, TED talks and mini-art projects from the extraordinary Brene Brown we will help one another to explore and remove obstacles such as guilt, shame, shyness and anxiety, and be our hopeful, holy, whole-hearted selves in all aspects of our doing and being.
4-5 Mondays from October 28 - December 2, as the group decides
6:30 - 8 pm
To register and be invited to weigh in on your best Mondays, please email our Church Administrator, Suzanne Warfel at email@example.com
